The Artisan Breakfast

Every day at Mostesi begins with a slow ritual, made of scents that welcome you even before you open your eyes. At the centre of this awakening is the skilful work of our master pastry chef Stefano: expert hands kneading, baking and decorating every morning. Every cake is home-made, every cake is born from carefully guarded and interpreted recipes. Crumbly tarts, soft leavened cakes, fragrant biscuits - everything speaks of attention, seasonality, respect for the raw material.

Alongside the sweet side, there is a selection of savoury proposals: warm bread, sharp alpine cheeses, freshly cooked eggs, local vegetables, malga butter and rigorously chosen cold cuts. Each element is selected from local farms, to bring to the table not only quality but also belonging.

The breakfast room is filled with light and small gestures: a moka coffee machine mumbling in the background, a tray arriving hot, a smiling look. It is a breakfast that is unhurried, nourishing and telling. A breakfast that, before you even leave, makes you feel you are already in the heart of the Dolomites.
